Original artwork hand-drawn and digitally painted by Holly Kungfused.
Guardian to the temples surrounding China, this illustration depicts the traditional stone lion statue, also known as a Chinese foo dog, a spiritual protector bringing prosperity to homes and temples. The Shaolin Lion design is in a pale blue marbled style with a cub at its feet, adorned with a golden collar, set against a crinkled beige backdrop. All of Holly’s art pieces are printed and shipped by an award-winning fine art studio in England.
Tip: Place facing outward at an entrance for protection. In Feng Shui, this lion represents the 'Yin' guardian, symbolising nurture and protection, and is traditionally positioned on the left.
